Non-Compliant CASPs FAQ
What does non-compliant mean under MiCAR?
These are entities flagged by EU national competent authorities or ESMA as providing crypto-asset services without the authorisation required under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. Inclusion is based on public regulator data.
Where does the CASP Tracker data come from?
It uses public data from the ESMA interim MiCA register, presented in a clearer, searchable format. See the methodology for details.
Should I visit the listed websites?
No. Many listed sites are suspected of hosting phishing or other malicious content. For your safety the websites are shown as plain text and are deliberately not clickable.
How often is it updated?
Weekly, based on the latest processed ESMA register data. The snapshot date is shown above the table.
Can I use this instead of the official ESMA register?
No. The tracker is a first-look tool. Always verify an entity's status against ESMA or the relevant national competent authority. If you believe a listing is in error, contact the DEA using the details in the footer.
